Anthony's obituary
Anthony Wayne Williams, 44, of Louisville Kentucky, departed this life on April 11, 2026 in a sudden and tragic loss. While his passing came far too soon, the impact he made will continue to shine through the lives he touched. Though his time here was cut far too short, his life was filled with meaning, connection, and a presence that will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a space that can never be filled, but also a lifetime of love, memories, and moments that will live on in all who knew him.
Anthony was a man full of life and undeniable love for his family. He adored his mother and sisters deeply— He spoke of them often and to anyone who would listen, proud of his family in a way that was impossible to miss. At the same time, in true Anthony fashion, he knew just how to work their nerves, bringing laughter and frustration all at once, the way only someone so loved could.
He had a passion for motorcycles and a gift for working with his hands. There wasn’t much Anthony couldn’t fix earning him the family nickname “MacGyver”. Whether it was something broken or something that just stopped working, he always found a way to figure it out. He loved his daughter Tylee with all his heart and had recently taken meaningful steps forward, proudly completing parenting classes just two weeks before his passing. Anthony also took pride in bettering himself. He earned his GED in 2006 and went on to receive certification in welding and carpentry, showing his determination.
Above all, he will be remembered for his love, his laughter, his resilience and the way he made himself unforgettable to those who knew him.
He is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Williams, Deanna Williams, Ebony Williams, Natasha ( Derrick Jackson) Brooks, Towanda Splunge-Cross, his brother Glen ( Sharmel ) Fishback, his daughter Tylee Williams, his aunt Shirley Arvin, along with a loving host of cousins nieces, nephews and many friends.
Anthony was preceded in death by both his loving parents, Brenda Williams and Nathaniel Splunge.
Lord, wrap Anthony in Your eternal peace and surround our hearts with comfort. May his love live on in us always. Amen.
