Anthony's obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Anthony (Tony) E. Vaxner Jr. on the 26th day of December 2025. Born on April 6th, 1937, Anthony lived a robust and fulfilling life of 88 years. A loving husband to the late, Rita C. Vaxner, a devoted family man that will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his sister Dolores Burkhardt; Children, Rita Anne Vaxner and Anthony Joseph Vaxner (Patricia); Grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Junior, Patricia Ann, John Joseph, Gabrielle, Alexandra, Tristan, and Mary Annalise; Great Grandchildren, Ein, Nathaniel, Scarlette, Gabrielle Mae, and Annalise.
Anthony was a beacon of love and integrity, his legacy of warmth and earnestness will live on forever. Known for his outgoing nature, he never missed an opportunity to bring joy to those around him. He was a man of easy speech and driven spirit, his passion and zeal for life endeared him to all who had the privilege to know him.
The family will receive visitors to pay their respects and bid farewell to Mr. Vaxner at a Viewing ceremony scheduled to be held at 10 AM on January 5th, 2026 at St Anselm Church. Following the viewing, a Funeral Service will start at 11 AM at the same location. The day’s proceedings will culminate in a burial service at 12 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery.
As we mourn the loss of this magnanimous soul, we find solace in the beautiful memories he left behind. While his physical presence will be missed, his spirited personality will forever live on. Let’s gather on January 5th, to honor and celebrate Anthony’s remarkable life and all the joy he brought to ours.
