My dad was a quiet man, loved by many! He loved outdoor sports, fishing , hunting, atv riding, football, baseball you name it. He fell in love and remarried for the 3rd time and last. Carie pasted away 1/5/2016 it was sudden and tragic to my dad. She was a social butterfly who got my dad talking to people and made him happy again. About a year after Carie passed my grandma passed away AND THEN Carrie's sister who my dad was really close to passed away in 2019. He went into a deep depression. He gave up on life altogether. My dad is on state assistance. He had a lot of physical ailments keeping him from working a 9-5 job anymore. He doesn't have any retirement money since his divorce with my step mom. My husband and I just used what money we did have to buy a bigger house for our big family. The mortgage industry is slow so income isn't like it was 2 years ago. I work 9-5 m-f and that keeps us afloat. I have to go to Michigan where my dad lived and clean out his estate, I need to pay for creamation, dumpsters, deep cleaning, man power, hotels, flights and the time off work to do all this.
