Anthony “Tony” Daniel Seymour, 78, of Rochelle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024.

Tony was born May 18, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts to Daniel Seymour and Margaret Ward. Known for his studiousness and attention to detail, he graduated cum laude from Georgetown University and Georgetown Law School, where he was Editor of the Law Review.

Tony practiced law in New York City and New Jersey.  He raised his son Matthew (Lisa) with his first wife Joanna Anselmo-Palma.  Tony later married Michelle Pin, whom he often referred to as his “personal saint”. The two were married 32 years until Michelle regrettably preceded him in death in 2019. With Michelle, he raised Colin (Mary), Caitlin, Brendan, and Brian. While he cherished being a husband and father, his favorite title was as Papa to his precious granddaughter, Mackenzie.

He was the beloved brother of Margaret “Peggy” Hickey (Dennis) and Peter Seymour (Marilyn), and dear uncle to Lynn, Denise, Eric, and Christine.

He will be remembered for his love of Boston sports, as well his insistence on the authenticity of his stories, regardless how fantastical they seemed.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am January 18, 2025 at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park, NJ.
