Tony's obituary

Anthony James Nyzio Sr. went home to  Jesus on November 26, 2021 at age 66. Tony was born to Emil and Helen Nyzio on June 6, 1955 in Trenton, N.J.. As a child, he loved fishing and animals and could be found most days down by the river with a fishing pole in hand. Anthony met his  wife, Antonietta (Capasso) Nyzio in 1972 at Barberos Bakery. They married in 1976 and went on to have 3 children, Amy , Melissa and Anthony Jr.. They remained close friends after Anthony moved to Seymour Tennessee. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Tony also loved Baking. During the 80's and 90's he owned Elite bakery on Second St. in Trenton N.J.. During the pandemic, even though  he was retired, he reopened his beloved Elite bakery and continued to do the thing he loved most of all baking until the time of his passing. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, and a devotion to the Blessed Mother, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Anthony joins His Father Emil Nyzio, His Mother Helen Folmer Nyzio and his best friend Teddy Hanasewych in Heaven. He is survived by his children Amy Nyzio Deleeuw(Jim), Melissa Nyzio, Anthony Nyzio Jr. (Sarah). His sisters Aniela Nyzio Weeks(Tom), Roberta Nyzio Stanley, Kathleen Nyzio Akins (Russ) and many nieces and nephews.

A mass service will be held on March 18, 2022 at 10 am at Divine Mercy Parish ( Holy Cross) 215 Adeline St. Trenton N.J.

A second service will be held on March 22, 2022 at 11 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 201 Black Oak Ridge Rd. Seymour T.N.
