Tony's obituary
Anthony Morinelli passed away on March 3, 2023 at the age of 80 after a valiant 4 year battle with cancer. A veteran of the Army, a 30 year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department and 10 years as Security at Lasalle University. Tony was the glue that held the extended family together, and his humor and love for his family are his lasting legacy.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mena Morinelli who he adored, daughter Marylee Morinelli and husband Chris Space, son TJ Morinelli and wife Carolann Rosenberg and his grandchildren who he lived for: AJ, Amanda, Ben and Joe.
Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police or the American Cancer Society. Links are on this webpage.
