This was the very first time AJ and I connected. Through storytelling. Through filmmaking. Dude went out on his own, and made an incredible arthouse piece that made me so jealous, I had to go even further. We then worked together on our first short in college and quickly became close friends. My favorite moments were hanging in his attic bedroom in the farmhouse off of Rt.24 and thought it was the coolest. He was the coolest. Kind, friggin hilarious, and stupid talented. I had some much to learn from him, and did. I'm forever lucky to have been one of his friends, for me, a brother. He's never left the most important parts of me.

I am at a loss of words why you were taking away from us so soon. I wish I could have traded places with you I think my heart would have been put back together..
