It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Lloyd, who passed away on October 7th, 2023. Born on August 27th, 1958, in Richmond Park, Jamaica, Tony was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness and humour, and cherished for his gracious and generous nature.

Anthony preferred to be known as Tony to his many friends. He was a lover of music, with a personal affection for Gregory Isaacs and Otis Redding that regularly filled the family home. His hobbies included cooking, as well as spending treasured time outside with family and friends. Tony was a lifelong student, attending Technical schools in both Jamaica and Canada. Tony's teachings and persona were best captured in his favourite phrase, "No man is an island, and no man stands alone."

Tony leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Lepearl Lloyd; his daughter, Tanya Lloyd and step-daughter Kimberly Graham; his sons, Patrick, Anthony, Noel, Roel Lloyd and step-sons, Patrick Shorter and Rayon Allison; and his cherished grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Charles Lloyd. His memories will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know him.

He will be remembered as a man who had a strong influence over his community. His legacy is one of generosity and unity, a testament to his belief that together, we can build a tightly knit community.

The funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on October 30th, 2023, at 11:00am at New Haven Funeral Centre Inc. We invite all those who knew and loved Tony to join us as we pay our final respects and celebrate the remarkable life he lived.

May his soul rest in eternal peace and his legacy inspire those he left behind.
