Anthony's obituary
With profound sadness we mourn the passing of Anthony Iritano, an incredible man whose unyielding spirit and zest for life touched everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Born on March 22, 1963, Anthony left us too soon on November 16, 2023, leaving a vibrant legacy behind. A loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.
He leaves behind his beloved and dedicated wife, Justine Iritano, whom he married in 2022 - a bond that was evident in every aspect of their lives and throughout his courageous cancer battle. Anthony also leaves behind his cherished son, Anthony Iritano Jr. whom he was incredibly proud of, and his beautiful daughter, Macyn Iritano whom he greatly adored. Each of them a testament to his strength, love, and dedication as a father.
Anthony’s personality was a remarkable amalgamation of strength, resilience, fearlessness, love, generosity, humor, and brilliance. Anthony will forever be known for his sound advice and COLORFUL vocabulary.
He was not just a creative, motivated and fearless man, he personified these traits in his everyday life. Among his numerous accomplishments, Anthony was known as a talented builder, entrepreneur, an amazing boss and mentor. However, his greatest accomplishments lay in his roles as a loving husband, a nurturing father, and trustworthy friend.
Anthony was a volunteer at HACO, a local outreach organization, and took extreme pleasure in his favorite pastimes. His tastes were eclectic and expansive, including a love for Italian cuisine, music, movies (anything Adam Sandler) and of course, indulging in his favorite drink, Vanilla Vodka. His recreational activities which ranged from boating, fishing, vacationing (Aruba his favorite), riding in his Slingshot, and spending quality TV time with Wilson, his loyal canine companion. Extremely competitive, he enjoyed playing Racquetball and Pickleball. His favorite teams were the Jets, Giants or any team that he could win on a bet.
He taught us to live life to the fullest, not to care about what people think, to take risks, and to love hard and to love often.
Anthony’s legacy will forever be one of living life on your own terms, a powerful testament to his fearless spirit. He influenced many with his resilience and his unwavering zest for life will continue to inspire those he left behind.
