Maybe some of you from those Wildwood days and South Philly remember some of these bands and places! Tony Fazz started out in High School with the band Tony Fazz and the Rock A Byes!
After high school in the band The Untouchables played the Vegas circuit at the Fremont backing new talent at the time like Wayne Newton. After returning and starting and raising their families the Untouchables played in Wildwood for years at clubs like The Fairview, Elmira club, Diamond beach (with celebs such as Frank Sinatra Jr) Lucky Club, the Martinique QLounge, where as a young boy sat on Tammy Terrell’s lap before she was famous probably she was 18 years old at the time singing in a band Steve Gibson and the Red Caps,,,,watching my brother play the Saturday jam sessions anytime I could, while he played on stage keeping a watchful eye on his little brother! Plus a few more clubs over time. Over the years as many bands do, change names and members but over time they always remained friends! Untouchables,The Hits, Rage band etc! They played many places in Philly and NJ. The JC lounge, Aloha club, Columbus Club, Johnnys Cottman Bar +++ I could listen to him play the drums for days! He was the best in my eyes, he was my idol and my oldest brother! I certainly will miss him! They are All in Heaven playing together again!
“Keep on Jamming” 💔🥁🎷🎸
