Anthony Rodgers, 60 passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family at his Memphis, TN home on February 9, 2023. Anthony was a decorated veteran.

Anthony was born on August 10, 1962, in Atlanta, GA to his parents Betty Davis and Joe Rodgers. When he was just ten years old, Anthony decided he wanted to join the U.S. Army. Anthony would go on to serve this country with some of his closest friends Tim Byers and Jacob Mitchell.   During his time in Orlando, FL, he met and fell for Karen Blocker, who he soon married in 2000. Anthony and Karen chose to settle down in Memphis, TN.

After moving back to his hometown, Anthony started working at Regions bank. He worked at Regions bank for fifteen years.

When he wasn’t working, Anthony had a passion for painting portraits. There will be a funeral service held at Greater Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 1184 College St., Memphis, TN 38106, on February 14, 2023.
