Anthony's obituary
Accomplished Millwright of Union Local 716, Anthony “Tony”, “Big Tone” Titus Cloward died unexpectedly on February 2, 2024 in Tacoma, WA at the age of 41.
Anthony is survived by older brother Robert Cloward, love of his life Leah Doyle and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins across the US. He is preceded in death by his father Robert, mother Barbara, and sister Mishel Baker.
Anthony was born on September 20, 1982 in Olympia, Washington to Robert and Barbara Cloward. He attended Buckeye Union High School in Arizona through 2001. After moving to Missouri, Anthony worked for Concrete strategies and continued to advance as a Union Millwright and Certified Precisionist. He was skilled in Welding and recently obtained his AWS Welding Certification. Anthony traveled for work all over the country eventually landing in Yakima, Washington.
His friends and family of Tuolumne County, CA remember Anthony as the “funny, hippy guy” with a great imagination and a knack for banter. They express that he was always there for anyone that needed support and was considered to be “Uncle Tony” to many. He was a huge lover of nature and animals, and was passionate about his studies of mychology, cactus plant biology, philosophy, and artistic leather work. Anthony enjoyed sharing these passions and educating others while Leah and his amazing dog River were by his side.
“Tony, you are my kindred spirit. I have shared my life with you more than any other. There is no substitute. All my love for eternity my little brother. Vaya con Dios mi hermano.”- Robert Cloward
