Anthony's obituary

Anthony Borges passed on the morning of June 27, 2020, in the city of Fresno. Anthony is survived by his son, his two sisters, two grandchildren, two nieces, and three nephews.

Anthony would be most well-remembered for the fact that he got along with everyone and would always go out of his way to make everyone feel good. He was so very generous and loved doing things for his neighbors including the neighborhood children. When Anthony would grill food, he always made enough for those that lived around him just like when the ice cream truck would come through the neighborhood he would buy cream for not only his family but all the kids out in the area.

Anthony was a talented Psychiatric Technician and worked for Kaweah Delta for many years before he took his trade to work for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. His work took him from one end of the state to the other. I remember Anthony telling me how much he loved his time working at Pelican Bay State prison and staying in Crescent City California.

Ultimately, Anthony passed from this world exactly how he lived it and that was on his own terms. His smile and laugh will be missed as much as his wisdom and a never-ending supply of dad jokes. Anthony was an amazing brother, uncle, father, and grandfather. Those of us that knew Anthony would agree we did not get enough time with him on this planet.
