Anthony's obituary
Anthony Jimena Balanquit, 70, of Fort Worth, TX passed away on August 27, 2021. Anthony was born on April 21, 1951 to Olimpia Jimena Johnson and Sixto Balanquit Jr. in Manila, Philippines. Anthony married his wife Frances Benitez Balanquit and they were married for 38 years and had three children together until she passed away in 2014. Anthony had four children, Mark Benitez, Abigail Pasco, Patricia Tran, and Lorenz Benitez. Anthony retired from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department after almost twenty years of service as a Deputy. Anthony was predeceased by his wife Frances Benitez Balanquit, mother Olimpia Jimena Johnson, father Sixto Balanquit Jr., stepfather George L. Johnson, sister Jocelyn Nadela, and brother Sixto O. Balanquit III-A. He is survived by his son Mark Benitez and wife Emelyn, daughter Abigail Pasco and husband Rommel, daughter Patricia Tran and husband Tony, son Lorenz Benitez and wife NouNou, grandchildren Mervin Dela Cruz, Sean Benitez, Victoria Tran, Isabella Tran, Mia Benitez, and Carter Benitez, stepmother Lilia Balanquit, brothers Sixto Balanquit, Ferdinand Balanquit, Michael Johnson, Sixto O. Balanquit III, sisters Marilyn Andrada, Carolyn Liddle, Evelyn Fujii, Roselyn Bernardo, Lilialyn Lassi, Ethelyn Hahne, Madelyn Balanquit, niece Cindy Horne, great nephew Alex Horne, and several family, relatives, classmates, and friends across the United States, Canada, Sweden, Norway, and the Philippines.
