Heartbroken to hear the news.  Only the good die young.  Anshu, much too young to be gone.  It is people like you who need to stay in this world for a long long long time.  Brilliant, strong, humble, astute, warm, curious and ever so nice.  How can it be you are no longer with us?

Pushi - sending my deepest condolences and much love!

Dear Pushy ,

Very saddened  by the news of Anshu’s passing . I remember him as a quiet , calming presence with an easy smile  alongside your wickedly funny self. Praying for God’s comforting presence with you today and in the days ahead .

Dear Pushy, I am so sorry to hear about Anshu. I remember our XLRI days and also visiting you both in Amherst. May happy memories of him help you through this difficulty time.

I am so devastated by the news of Anshu's passing! I have no words to express how much I will miss him. He acted as a compassionate mentor to me when I first joined the University of New Haven. We shared the same office and I enjoyed having great intellectual conversations with him. His encyclopedic knowledge, thoughtful worldview and care about the most relevant global issues are incomparable. He will remain a pioneer of postcolonial theory. His books and his other scholarly contributions will remain alive and will impact the current and future generations of scholars. May his soul rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with Pushi. May God provide her with strength and patience.

I am so saddened by Anshu's passing. Every time I talked with him, I came away with a much clearer big picture view of the global issues of our time. His scholarship on postcolonialism paved the way for a whole new field of study in management and influenced the next generation of researchers for sure. But it was his deep kindness and thoughtfulness that stand out, approaching everything with sharp keen observations tempered with deep caring about those least well off. I will miss him, and am just so glad this his unique voice lives on in his writing. Sending hugs to Pushi.... Maureen Scully
