It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Smith, who left this world on October 10, 2024, just shy of her 86th birthday. Born on October 22, 1938, Annette was an embodiment of kindness and joy, a gentle soul whose presence brought light to the lives of those around her. Her infectious smile and selfless nature were her defining attributes, making her a beacon of positivity in every situation.

Throughout her life, Annette was always there for those in need, offering a helping hand and a warm heart at every turn. Her selfless acts of kindness and love were not only confined to her family members, friends, and acquaintances, but also extended to strangers, reflecting her innately compassionate nature. Her motto in life was to serve others and spread happiness, a principle that she upheld until the very end.

Predeceased by her parents Mack  and Pearlie Garrett, brothers Junior, Dewey, and Curtis Garrett and twin sister Janette King. Annette leaves behind her beloved brother and wife Jimmy and Barbara Garrett. Proud mother of daughters Sandra Gierisch, Sheila Smith, Stacy Pope and Son Steve Smith. The bond shared was truly exceptional. Their mother's legacy of love and generosity, cherishing the countless memories they've made together. As well as leaving behind many nieces , nephews, 3  grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren 

The loss of Annette Smith is felt by many. Yet, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on through the numerous lives she touched and the smiles she fostered. May her soul rest in peace and her memory be a blessing.
