Annetta's obituary

Annetta G. Harris, 85 years old, of El Cajon Ca, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2021. She was surrounded by family members who were caring for her at their in home hospice.
Annetta was born Jan 30th 1936 to Edward and Anne Tweed in San Diego.
After graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Oliver (Ollie) Harris. Annetta and Ollie went on to have 3 children, Michael, Ricky and Oliver Jr. They were married for 60 years. Annetta was a 1953 Kearny High graduate and song leader & she regularly kept in touch with her classmates.
Annetta retired in 1996 after a career in the banking industry which spanned 30 years. While retired, Annetta had time to pursue her love of painting, line dancing, and volunteering. She was a Marriage Officiant with the County of San Diego. She married hundreds of couples during her 5 years of volunteering. She was voted "Volunteer of the Year" for her outstanding service and recognized by The Board of Supervisors. Annetta also belonged to a sorority club where she would often meet and collaborate with close friends.
Annetta was predeceased by her husband Ollie and her son Ricky. She is survived by two sons, Michael and Oliver, two sisters, Shirley Coghlan and Dorothy Nowell, two daughter-in-laws, Paula & Marsha, five grandchildren, Jessica, Clinton, Gentry, Brad & Scott and four great grandchildren Amber, Nico, Emerson and Ames.
