Personal note from Ethan Min, Anne's husband

I don’t want anyone to pity her life. I want to celebrate it, even if it was short and, at times, unfair.
Her life was not miserable. She used to say that being together made her feel safe and loved, and I’m grateful she didn’t have to face her battle with cancer alone.
She once told me that I was the greatest gift in her life.

Many people go through life without ever finding true love or pass away in loneliness, but Anne wasn’t one of them. She was deeply loved, and she knew it. She was surrounded by people who truly cared for her, and her life was filled with warmth and support.

Even during her battle with pain, Anne remained one of the most caring, kind-hearted, and loving souls I’ve ever known. She always put others before herself and did her best to make everyone feel safe and comfortable. And no matter how hard things were, she carried the most beautiful smile.

During her time in hospice, she was visited every single day by people who loved her. That alone says everything about the kind of person she was—someone who touched countless hearts and brought light into the lives of those around her.

I am happy for her, and I truly believe she is now in a place without pain or stress, but full of peace and happiness. I’m sure she’s watching over all of us whom she loved.
