Anne's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Ohren, born on December 1, 1943, and who passed away on March 8, 2025. A beacon of love and kindness, Anne's legacy of generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Anne is survived by her loving partner, John Ringer, her daughter, Denise Johns, her son-in-law, Andrew Johns, and her grandchildren, Hannah and Ben Johns. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Bentley, many nieces and nephews as well as too many friends to count. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Denis Ohren, and her parents, William and Marian Armour.
An attendee of The Community of the Good Shepherd, Anne's faith played a profound role in her life. A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held on March 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at The Community of the Good Shepherd.
Throughout her life, Anne was deeply involved in her community. She volunteered at Clermont Senior Services and the Clermont YMCA. Anne was a joiner who played games, cards, tried woodworking and many other groups. She just wanted to meet as many people possible. Anne had an insatiable curiosity about people and their stories, fueling her tireless commitment to reaching out and helping others with love and kindness.
Described by many as sassy, brave, kind, open, loving, non-judgmental and spontaneous, Anne had an infectious zest for life. However, Anne was not perfect and would find great humor in this AI generated obituary. She’d often say, “I’m no saint”.
Anne's greatest accomplishments were undoubtedly her loving relationships with her husband, her 'buddy', her daughter and her grandchildren. Her mantra of "Live every single day. Celebrate life!" was not just a saying, but a lifestyle she fully embodied. Her legacy of generosity, kindness, and love will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
In honor of Anne's love for life, we encourage you to celebrate each day with joy, kindness, and laughter. An irreplaceable presence in our lives, Anne will be deeply missed.
