We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Anne “Shultzie” Cotter. Anne passed away peacefully surrounded with love by her family and friends. Anne’s love and the warmth she shared whether you knew her as Mom, Aunt Annie, Schultzy, Oma Anne or Gigi will be remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Anne’s empathy and compassion for other people cannot be overstated. We all know that she had an amazing ability to make everyone she came in contact with feel special and loved. If she was your friend, she was your friend for life. Anne has touched and has had such a tremendous influence on so many lives. She was always there for her family and friends and not just during good times but more importantly when people were struggling. Her light was always on and her door was always open. Anne’s generosity was endless. It would be impossible to summarize Anne’s life and all of her many accomplishments in a few paragraphs and it would honestly be a disservice to her to try to do so. That is why this site has been created. It is set up for family and friends to add their own photographs, memories and amazing stories that we all have of our beautiful Anne. Please share this site with as many friends of Anne’s as possible, as we are all excited to share and read about all of her many adventures along her long and amazing life. From her early years spending summers in Lancaster with family to her years at UNH. Anne’s restaurant influence in the Valley at both Ye Old Yankee Chef and The Riverside Inn to her day drives and beach trips with her “kitchen cabinet” friends. Anne was a loving relative, a doting grandmother, a fierce friend and such a big part of all of our lives. She has meant so much to us and for so many different reasons. We want everyone to have the ability to share their own personal thoughts and we look forward to reading about all of Anne’s many adventures and her importance to all of us. There is a timeline section on the site that anyone can add to. Please feel free to add any and all important events that happened in Anne’s life. Anne is sorely missed and will continue to be a big part of our lives forever. We miss you deeply, and thank you for all the joy and love you gave us along the way. I hope we can honor her by filling this site with as many wonderful stories and memories as possible. Thank you to everyone for sharing.
