Anne's obituary

Anne Buxton, age 82 passed from this Earth to her Heavenly Father on December 28th, 2019 in Plant City, Florida.

Anne Lilbourne Buxton was preceded in death by her Husband of 33 years, Dewey Glenn Buxton, Sr. who passed in 1996 and with whom her remains will be laid to rest beside at Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery.

Anne was a citizen of the Brandon area since 1973. She was an upstanding local business owner of Badcock Furniture, a loving and devoted Christian, wife, and mother. She was known for her angelic voice and sweet demeanor, and loving spirit. She was not only beautiful on the inside but also on the outside, winning the title of Mrs. Bedford, VA 1962.

Anne is survived by her daughter Brenda Anne Buxton of Brandon, Fl; her son Dewey Glenn Buxton Jr. also of Brandon, Fl; her sister Katherine Epps Walden of Wilmington NC; and her brother Kennon Christian Walden of Bedford, VA.

Also proceeding her in death were Anne’s parents; Her father Kennon Christian Walden, and her mother Anne Lilbourne Gravatt Walden. Marianne Russell Walden, Anne’s sister also preceded Anne in death.

A Memorial Service in honor and celebration of Anne’s beautiful life will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 1:00 PM at Bay Area Church of Christ in Seffner, Fl. The service will be officiated by Pastor Tim Stutzman.

Memorial contributions will be accepted at Bay Area Church of Christ.
