Anne's obituary
Anne E. Bagan, a beloved member of many communities, passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on July 24, 1960, and raised in Davenport, Iowa, Anne attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate studies. She built a successful career while raising her daughters in the Chicago suburbs, created a loving home in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, and most recently retired in Key Largo, Florida.
Anne was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her four children, Lindsay Glass (Cameron Collins), Alyssa Glass (Alex Mergard), Shaley Bagan (Michael Corr), and Drayton Bagan (Amanda Bagan); her brother, Tom Stiles (Debi Stiles); and many nieces and nephews who were the light of her life. Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mark Bagan, and her dear parents, Duane and Kathryn Stiles.
Anne was known for her generosity and welcoming nature, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her. She was happiest when surrounded by loved ones at her homes in Wisconsin or Florida, cheering on the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team, tending to her beloved garden, or catching up with old and new friends.
Throughout her long-standing career at the CME Group, Anne’s wit and intelligence inspired many and contributed to her success at the company for 26 years. After retiring, she devoted her time to charitable causes, traveling, and supporting those around her.
A celebration of Anne's life will be held in the spring of 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations at https://everloved.com/life-of…, to continue her support of philanthropic organizations, including the Joffrey Ballet, the University of Iowa, and the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
Anne Bagan will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts and memories of all who had the privilege to know her.
