Annamarie Nancy Grissler passed away on May 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family in Kure Beach, NC. She was born on Staten Island, New York August 6, 1938 and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She was married to her life long soulmate and partner of 59 years, Frank Grissler.
Annamarie was a District Acount Manager for AIG Corporation for 21 years upon her retirement in 1998 and relocation to Kure Beach, NC.
Annamarie is survived by, her spouse Frank Grissler, her children Jeffrey Peter Grissler, Doreen Catanzaro and Christine McIntyre as well as their spouses, her grandchildren and great grandchild and many other family and friends.
Annamarie was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as well as a cantor and choir member.
Annamarie had many passions and hobbies including cooking, art, piano and singing. She lived to sing and was proud to be a part of the Harmony Belles of Wilmington since 2009. She also loved traveling the world with her husband, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Annamarie Grissler’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Attn: Tribute Program PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148
The funeral service will be held at 9 am on Thursday May 24, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 6650 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC
