Anna Swisher, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 5, 2025, after a long and fulfilling life marked by her wit, warmth, and playful spirit.

She was a proud mother to her four children —Keely (Scott) Woellert, Stephen Adams, Christa Adams, and Patrick (adopted name Stephen, deceased)— and a cherished “Nanna”, to her grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle (Chad), Mason, Ashlee (Matthew) Bowlds, Kevin and great-grandmother to Ben, Emilee, Devon, and Maddie.

She was a loyal Buckeyes fan who never missed a game and was rarely seen without her signature ruby red lipstick, a perfect reflection of her bold and spirited nature.

In keeping with her generous heart Anna proudly donated her body to The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Division of Anatomy, for medical education and research — a final act of kindness making a difference in the lives of others, being honored as a Buckeye for Life.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life to honor Anna’s remarkable journey and the love she shared so freely.

Her laughter, her strength, and that unforgettable shade of red will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
