Anna's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Stamoulis, who left us on May 10th at the age of 89. Anna was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt.

Born on March 8, 1936, Anna grew up in Patmos, Greece, on the foothills of Monastery of Saint John. That’s where she developed a devotion to Greek Orthodox religion and found meaning in serving family members and others in her community.

After moving to America, Anna enjoyed cooking traditional Greek meals on holidays setting a welcoming table for immediate family and friends. In her younger years she enjoyed sewing and mastered the art of alteration of fine clothing.

Anna loved her late husband, Bill, unconditionally. She is survived by two step-daughters, Stacy and Carla and their husbands, six adult grandchildren, ten great grandkids, and two nieces.

A service to honor Anna's life will be held on May 21, 2025 at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Anna’s memory.

May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered for the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
