Anna's obituary
Anna was born on March 6, 1943 in Edmonton, Alberta to Edvin and Ruth Bergquist.
Anna lived a colorful life, trying and succeeding in many things during her time on Earth. She graduated with honors from McTavish Business College in Edmonton before setting out on her life. Her and her first husband Al Rosinski, lived in many places including Tsawassen, Point Roberts, Bellingham, Sacramento and Yreka (where she was employed by the Sheriff’s department). When they divorced, Anna settled with her children in Blaine before moving to Birch Bay and marrying Kenneth Cook. She was a beloved member of the human resources team at the Ferndale Refinery under Mobil, Tosco, and ConocoPhillips until she retired.
Anna never met a stranger and once you knew her she would make sure you were cared for. She was fiercely loyal, independent, strong, patient, kind and compassionate. She loved to make and listen to music, laugh (loudly!), spend time crafting/sewing/cooking or with her many pets. She adored her grandchildren and would spoil them rotten every chance she got.
Anna was a member of Skandia Lodge 549 of Edmonton, Alberta. She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and enjoyed many summers at their family cabin at Pigeon Lake.
Anna is survived by her daughter Natalee (Ryan) Andrews and her grandchildren Kyle and Amelia of Olympia; her son Ryan (Susanne) Rosinski of Sagle, ID; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Evelyn, brother Gerald, her husband Kenneth Cook and her first husband Al Rosinski.
There will be a gathering to celebrate her life this summer in Birch Bay details to be determined.
