Anna Beth (Nygaard) Alexander passed away at her home on Nov. 12, 2021. Anna Beth was born in Little Rock, AR on Oct. 3, 1942. As an Army brat, she traveled all across the country with her parents, Carl and Birdie Mae Nygaard and younger sister, Carla. They settled in Santa Cruz, CA, where she grew up and graduated high school as a Cardinal in 1960.

The next step in life led her to Laramie, WY at the University of Wyoming. After graduating college, she went on to teach school in Rock Springs, WY for over 30 years. She served as her local teachers union president and was active in Kappa Kappa Iota. In Rock Springs, she raised twins, Analyce and Adam. She is survived by them and her sister. After retiring, she moved to Broomfield, CO and spent her years active and peaceful. She enjoyed going to see plays and having great holiday meals. She is loved and will be missed.
