Ann Theresa Stevens, 60, passed away peacefully at her home in Tucson, AZ on October 25, 2023.

She was surrounded by her husband, mother, family and friends.

Ann grew up in Richland, WA and graduated with a BA in English from the University of Puget Sound.

Ann was married to her loving husband Dave Olsen, for 30 years. They met in Seattle at the Mountaineers club, 3 years prior, and since then have enjoyed traveling the world, hiking and skiing (with and without their beloved dogs—Casey and Rio), cooking and enjoying dinner parties with friends and family.

Ann was a great writer and worked as a Public Relations and Marketing professional at Holland America Cruise Lines before becoming a partner at her own company. Skinner, Dunlap and Stevens International in Seattle.

Ann and Dave built their retirement home in Tucson, where Ann enjoyed furnishing and decorating their new home and enjoyed making new friends and walking her dogs. Ann continued her work career in public relations at the University of Arizona, where she wrote speeches, managed events, and worked in development at the Steele Children’s Research Center and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Ann volunteered extensively with her college—University of Puget Sound Alumni Board and with Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Ann retired in 2014 in order to travel with her husband and friends.

Ann is survived by her husband David Olsen, mother Mary Stevens, father Ed Stevens (who preceded Ann’s death in 2013), brothers Tom (Luisa) and Paul (Katherine), sister Jean, her loving East Coast family, nephews, niece and cousins.
