Ann C. SANDY was born on a farm in Altoona, PA, moved to Long Beach, CA, where she met her TRUE LOVE-JAMES R SANDY. They raised 8 children, Michael-spouse, Barbara Sandy, Catherine, Samantha, Victoria-spouse, Doug Lucas, Scott-spouse, Luana Sandy, Julie-spouse Bruce Hesse, Bart-spouse, Susan Sandy, & Robert-spouse, Dana Sandy.
She also enjoyed her many grandchildren: Jessica, Christopher, Victoria Rose, Francessca, David Alan, Robert James, Amanda, Shanell, Teri, David Leigh, Crystal, Kenneth and 7 great-grandchildren.
Ann was active in Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts, her church & local theater. She taught at Trona Elementary & had a long career as a Dental assistant. Her interests were painting desert scenery, camping and hiking Mt. Whitney, sewing & baking Christmas cookies with her girls, singing Mr. Bojangles accompanied by her son, Michael on guitar. Upon retirement, Ann and her husband moved to Maui for a few years with her daughter, Vicky and her husband. She was well loved and will be missed by many.
