I'm at such a loss for words of what to write. Every sentence starts with Chip and Ann - it is such a loss and yet there are so many joyful, funny memories of Ann's smile, sense of humor, bright personality, and joyful presence. The familiarity I feel to you all is an extension of Ann's warmth and glow and I will miss her physical presence. I'm remembering how excited my parents both were to tell of any of their many adventures including the grand journeys to the French countryside and Peruvian Andes with the Porters. Having Ann as a friend and being considered part of her world is such a gift.
