I miss my friend, Ann, so much!  For months, I went to train to take her place as the Wednesday Club webmaster. Not once, did she say good job to all my attempts at learning how to master all the pages.  I thought I just didn’t match her expectations.  Years later when she took over as webmaster again, I sent her a book review and she said I was a very, very good writer. I repeated this to all of our friends because a compliment  from Ann was a gold medal. A great lady!!

We will always remember Ann's wonderful sense of humor, her dry wit, and incredible talent and creativity. She was the rock of The Wednesday Club, always coming up with new ideas and games. Ann was also an encourager. She saw potential in all those around her and challenged us to reach a little higher. We miss Ann very much.

I remember visiting in Yonkers NY when we were kids. She made soup for lunch but did not give us spoons to eat with and when I asked for a spoon she said no we had to drink it out of the bowl like a dog. So we did and thought it was great fun. 

1. I was saddened when I heard the news of Ann's passing. She was a fun and loving Aunt and will be greatly missed. 

A favorite memory of my Mom, is when she feigned ignorance of the seminal conversation that set me off on a 20 year satirical photo project, designed to poke fun at the pressure women get to "put a ring on it." Here she is, with Bill Geist on CBS Sunday Morning in 2013, saying she had no recollection of telling me to "just pick somebody." She flew to Colorado in a snow storm, just to be there for the taping. What a Sport, and a Support!  Full Video here: https://vimeo.com/265968790
