Ann's obituary
Antoinette Rose LaCortiglia (Spano), affectionately known as Ann, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2024, in Derry, New Hampshire, at the age of 79. Born on December 10, 1944, in Boston, Massachusetts, Ann was a vibrant spirit whose love and legacy will be cherished by all who knew her.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Gina Power and Laura LaCortiglia; grandsons, Anthony, Zachary, and Jonathan DeWart; and niece, Roseann Peters. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert LaCortiglia; sisters, Tina Peters; and Jeannette Chirico, and her brother, Pasquale Spano; .
Throughout her life, Ann was known for her fervent spirit and profound love for her family. Her favorite pastimes included cooking for her family, playing the slots, watching "The Godfather," and savoring a cigarette and good cup of coffee or tea. She delighted in vacations to Las Vegas and frequent visits to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. Ann's favorite color was purple, which she incorporated into her daily life, reflecting her vibrant personality.
A passionate advocate for animals, Ann's commitment to animal welfare was profound.
