Ann's obituary

Ann Carolyn Hardwick Miller, 77, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 30, 2024.  Because of her faith in Jesus Christ, she is now completely healed and in the presence of Jesus and so many loved ones who were waiting in heaven for her.  Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Ann was the daughter of the late Roy Rex Hardwick, Jr. and the late Jane Adelle Powers Hardwick; and the granddaughter of Roy Rex Hardwick Sr., Willie Davis Hardwick, George Washington Powers and Adelle Hosse Powers, all of whom preceded her in death.  She was also the sister of the late Roy Rex Hardwick III. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Ann Miller Hill, her son-in-law Bruce Randell Hill, and her beloved grandson Thomas Nolan Hill.  She is also survived by her brother George (Aletha) Hardwick and other extended family, her Mount Harmony Baptist Church family, and many friends.  First and foremost, Ann loved Jesus and loved the music of His church.  She was outgoing and friendly and truly loved all people.  She was known by her friends as a faithful prayer warrior.  From childhood, she loved animals and especially appreciated the company of her chihuahua late in her life.  She loved her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson dearly, and her absence has already left a hole in the family that can never be filled.  Her family is grateful for the assurance that she is no longer suffering and they will be reunited with her in glory one day.
