Anita's obituary
Anita Vargas of Corpus Christi, Tx was born on June 9, 1943 and fell asleep in death at the age of 82 on March 13, 2026. She will be missed by her 2 siblings Mike Munoz and James Munoz, 2 children Joseph Vargas (Nelda Vargas) and Bernice Burns (Stan Burns), 5 grandchildren Janelle Vargas Fox (Brandon Fox), Brandt Burns (Raquel Reyna), Avery Burns, Jalena Vargas, and Jaden Vargas, 1 great grandchild Mila Burns, and 2 granddogs Lola Burns and Charlie Vargas. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe F. Vargas, parents Manuel Munoz Jr and Estella Munoz, and siblings Robert Munoz and Diana Baldillez.
To those who knew Anita, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a faithful servant of her loving God Jehovah. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She would always find a way to go above and beyond for others acting selfless and even putting them before herself. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren making them laugh with stories of her mischief as a child and making sure they always felt secure and loved during the quality time she was with them. She made sure to be at every event to support her family no matter what it took. To know her was to know what true love was and she was not shy about demonstrating her love. Her passing has left a space in our hearts that is difficult to mend but we will always remember her famous sayings and every memory we have with her we cherish. We look forward to the day that we will see her again in Paradise under perfect conditions as outlined and promised in the scriptures. John 5:28, 29 and Rev. 21: 3,4 and we all can't wait to hear her tell us one more time “I love you I love you I… love you”.
