You know that person, that when you’re around them, they made you feel lighter, more at peace, generally happier? If you do, you have been gifted. That gift to me was my little sister, Anita Lavezzi Sutton .

This prayer reminds me so much of her:

Gentle woman, quiet light,

Morning star, so strong and bright,

Gentle Mother, peaceful dove,

Teach us wisdom; teach us love.

Tomorrow will be 4 years since I’ve had one of those special Anita hugs. But nothing can stop those gentle feelings, those peaceful memories, or strong connections she always left me with. Nothing is remembered more than her unconditional love.

But oh, how she is missed and always so loved.
