Anita's obituary

Anita Castro, a beloved family member and cherished friend, passed away on June 21, 2023. Born on March 22, 1948, Anita's vibrant spirit and unwavering warmth characterized her 75 years of life. Throughout her life, she embodied  resilience and shared her strength with those around her. 

She was survived by her spouse Rosando Castro Sr, and her four children, Rosando Castro II, Imelda Castro, Annalisa Castro, and Veronica Demendonca. Her siblings Rodolfo "Rudy" Reyna, Joel Reyna, Sylvia Martinez,  Reynold "Ray" Reyna, and Jose Reyna. Her nieces and nephews, Jerry Reyna, Oscar Reyna, Jamie Reyna, Noe Reyna, Geraldo "Jerry" Reyna, Gino Reyna, Sarah Martinez, Angelica Moreno, Daniel Martinez, Christina Reyna, David Reyna, Mary Elizabeth Reyna, and Norma Linda Reyna. Her grandchildren Rosando Castro III, Alexis Tamez, Adan Tamez, Alinda Castro, Annaysa Demendonca, Adelina Demendonca, Anita Bella Demendonca, and Dimitri Demendonca II.

Anita was preceded by her mother Sarah Reyna, her father Antonio Reyna, her eldest brother Eluterio Reyna, her younger brother Ramiro Reyna, her younger sister Dalia Reyna, her youngest son Ubaldo Reyna, her nephew AA Reyna, and her grandson Lorenzo Tamez.

Anita's zest for life and kind-hearted nature will be greatly missed by her family, as well as the countless individuals who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy of love, empathy, and human connection will continue to inspire and guide those she touched.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers at this difficult time. Anita wishes were to forgo a viewing and funeral. Her wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest with her son Ubaldo Reyna in a private family gathering.
