Anita's obituary
Anita Wrenn Bardin-Soto passed away on April 14, 2023 in Alexandria, VA, surrounded by her family and friends. Anita was born in Norfolk, VA on March 24, 1982, grew up in Norfolk, and graduated from Old Dominion University. Trained as a cartographer, she was an employee at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency at the time of her death.
During her life, Anita left a lasting impression on many people and animals. She loved rescuing cats, was an avid fan of RuPaul's Drag Race, and built a profitable side business that combined her creativity and cartography skills. She traveled extensively, both alone and with her husband, and owned two properties in Puerto Rico, where she planned to retire and set up an organic farm.
Anita leaves behind her husband, Juan Pablo Bardin Soto, her mother, Gale Fowler, two brothers, Guy and Warren Workman, and her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Ford, in addition to her husband's parents, brother, sister, and numerous cousins, uncles, and aunts. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents.
