Angiolina's obituary
It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the passing of Angiolina "Angie" Vitiritti—Nana to many who loved her. After 83 years of pouring love into this world, Angie passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives, leaving an enduring legacy of love and joy.
Born in Altomonte, Italy, in 1942, Angie built a life grounded in faith, family, and love. For the past 26 years, she lived with her daughter Giorgie and son-in-law Scott, not just as a parent and grandparent but as an integral part of their home. Angie helped raise her grandchildren, Bella and Jacob, from day one, loving them fiercely every single day. Her love extended to her son Vince, his partner Tina Marie, and her treasured grandson Gabriel, who were her greatest pride.
If you knew Angiolina—“Nana” to many—you knew her warm smile and her insistence that you never left her home hungry. Her famous lemon cookies and lasagna, made with “a little of this and a pinch of that,” were legendary, needing no recipes. She was the quintessential Italian mom and grandmother, happiest when family gathered around her table, sharing laughter and love.
Angie found joy in life’s simple moments, especially crocheting. Nearly everyone she met received one of her lovingly crafted blankets—a tangible piece of her heart. If you have a blanket made by Nana, give it an extra squeeze; she will feel your love from heaven. She also lived to see her granddaughter Bella marry and was overjoyed knowing her grandson Jacob and his partner Izzy are beginning a beautiful future together.
Angie shared nearly 60 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Pasquale, who passed in June 2025. Their bond was inseparable, and just over four months without him was more than her heart could bear. She longed to be by his side again, and we find comfort knowing they are reunited.
Thank you, Angie, for every meal, every hug, every blanket, and every small gesture of love. Your legacy lives on through your children and grandchildren. We love you, we miss you, and we know you are back with Pasquale—together again. Until we meet again, Sweet Mama. Ti vogliamo bene per sempre. Riposa in pace, cara Mama.
Angie is survived by her loving daughter, Giorgie Loomis, and her husband, Scott, along with their cherished children, Bella and Jacob. She is also survived by her beloved son, Vince Vitiritti, and his partner, Tina Marie, as well as her treasured grandson, Gabriel.
