Angela “Angie” Teresa Pettit, 51, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024. A funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25th at St. Jude Catholic Church in Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Rosary will take place just before Mass. There will be a Celebration of Angie’s Life/  family visitation from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. that evening, also at St. Jude.

Angie was born June 21, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of James Joseph and Dorthy Fae (Vaden) Hennig. She was a proud Northwest Alumni. Later, she earned her Master’s Degree in education. Angie was a champion of kids and had a passion for teaching those with special needs. She enjoyed watching her boys play football and never missed a game.

Angie’s survivors include her husband, Brian Pettit, and two sons, Cameron and Ben Pettit, all of the home; brother, Ray Hennig of Lubbock, TX; sister, Margaret Hyatt of Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members, co-workers, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jesse and Wayne Hennig.
