Angelo's obituary
Angelo Piombino, beloved husband, family man and respected community figure, passed away on September 17, 2013. Born on May 19, 1948, Angelo lived life with an untamed spirit and a kind heart. A man of character, Angelo's warm personality touched all those who crossed his path.
Friendliness was Angelo's second nature. He could often be found helping his neighbors and friends with a smile. His caring nature permeated every aspect of his life, from his family relationships to the way he treated strangers.
His words of wisdom to those around him were simple yet profound, "Do as I say, not as I do, damn it." He was a man who believed in guiding others through his wisdom but left enough room for them to carve their own journeys. He truly understood the riddle of life was to learn, grow and work hard.
Angelo was a huge outdoor enthusiast: hunting, fishing, and gardening were his favorite pastimes. He also took pleasure in hosting pig roasts during camping trips with family. He was proud of his Florida home where he and his beloved wife, Gianna kept a garden of fruits and vegetables and a yard of gorgeous flowers.
Although Angelo's physical presence will be profoundly missed, his spirit continues to shine brightly through his cherished wife, Gianna, beloved son, Stefano Lorenzo Piombino, daughter Angela Riggs, and also his three grandchildren, Alana, Tristan, and Kenzo. He had a son who predeceased him, Stefano Piombino and another who passed after him, Francesco Piombino. Angelo's legacy of love, kindness, and resilience continues to live on.
May we all continue to learn from Angelo's life and embody his heartfelt virtues of friendliness, helpfulness, and caring for others. Let us carry his memorable lessons with us, remember his achievements, and appreciate the remarkable life he led.
We mourn the loss of a wonderful man and remember a life well-lived. Angelo Piombino, your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
