Angelo's obituary
Angelo Carl Micheletti, a published author, professional photographer, and Army veteran, passed away on July 1, 2023, in Sisters, Oregon, at the age of 87.
Angelo was born on March 9, 1936, in Canton, Illinois, moved to California as a child, and lived in Bend, Oregon, at the time of his death. He attended UCLA and graduated from St. Mary's College (CA) with a master's degree in business. Angelo was a devoted father to his three children, Patrick Micheletti, A. Thomas Micheletti, and Christopher Micheletti. His grandchildren, Gennie Micheletti, Gabby Micheletti, Theo Micheletti, Emery Micheletti, and great-grandchildren Gil and Oren Micheletti also survive him. He also has 3 living brothers; Paul, Robert and Richard.
Angelo traveled the West following his passion for black & white and color photography while he worked and focused more time onphotography upon his retirement. He used his tech experience to publish a "For Dummies" book and enjoyed woodworking as well.
Angelo served in Alaska with the U.S. Army and will be interred at the Sacramento National Cemetery after the honor ceremony, the date of which is yet to be determined. A celebration of life is also being planned in Bend, Oregon, in mid-September. Rest in peace, Angelo. You are loved and will be remembered for generations to come.
