Angelika's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angelika "Angie" Sprague, who left us peacefully on April 11, 2024. Angelika, though often referred to as Angie, was born on December 31, 1959. A woman of great strength and kindness, her life was a testament to these qualities.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Wayne Sprague, and their beloved children, Andrea Whitaker, Warren Wayne Sprague, and Jeffrey Dewayne Sprague. Angelika had a deep and abiding love for her family, which extended to her mother, Ursula Marie Cooper, and her brother, Ronnie Cooper.

Angelika was a cherished grandmother to Matthew, Brandon, Waylon, and River Sprague, as well as to Cove English, Alyssa, and Piper Whitaker. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she in theirs. Her love and lessons will continue to flourish through them.

A Celebration of Life for Angelika will be held on May 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Russell Memorial Methodist Church in Wills Point, TX. All those who knew Angelika are invited to join in remembering her kindness, her loving spirit, and the way she enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Among the many important lessons Angelika shared throughout her life, none was more poignant than her belief that "It costs nothing to be kind." She embodied this philosophy daily, consistently radiating kindness and warmth to those around her, and we are comforted in knowing that her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us all.
