It is with great sadness that the family of Angelica Ortiz (née Casanova) announces her passing on Monday, February 17, 2020, at the age of 93 years. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported Angie in her struggle with illness and ultimately gave her peace.
Born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, she lived 64 years in the East Harlem section of New York City before recently moving to Old Bridge, NJ.
Angie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Yolanda, and son-in-law Edwin. "Wela" will also be fondly remembered by her granddaughter, Jennifer, her grandson-in-law, Horacio, and her great-granddaughter, Isabella. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Angie will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 531 Washington Rd, South Amboy, NJ. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin, NJ. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Angie to the American Heart Association.
