Angela's obituary
Angela "Angie" Pendleton, 88, of Houston, TX (last year of life only), passed away on October 09, 2024 after an unfortunate Stroke which led to blood leaking in her brain.
Angela was born on April 27, 1936 to Emile Thibault and Alice Boucher in Lewiston, ME. After graduating from Lewiston high school in 1954, she enjoyed working in the local hospital. She met John Edward Pendleton, a Navy man, and they wed on September 11, 1954, going on to have 6 children, Patricia Ann, Kathleen Joan, John David, Nancy Jeanne, William Edward, and Cheryl Anne. She was also survived by her 14 of her 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Angela was very proud of her role as a Navy wife, and she traveled as far as Hawaii, then later to Alaska and Mexico in her later years. Her full-time job as mother and homemaker were her passion, as she always nurtured her family and helping them with difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting her spouse through many medical difficulties or her children through tough times, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others. She grew up in the Catholic church and has always maintained the narrow path of a Christian throughout her life. She would pray for others and gave God the glory when she saw her prayers answered. Angela enjoyed sewing and ceramics, and she was an avid reader and loved doing Crossword and Sudoku puzzles. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and good food to eat, she could be found decorating for holiday festivities. Angela had a genuine, caring heart and could not bear cruelty of any kind. Though she adored children most of all, she also was passionate about animal welfare, and especially cats. The void she leaves behind as she departs the living is a chasm of deep sadness.
Angela was predeceased by her parents, 6 of her 7 siblings, her spouse and her 1st granddaughter Stephanie. She is survived by her youngest brother Andrew, and all 6 of her children.
