Angela's obituary
After years of fighting the ravages of brain cancer, her heart finally gave out.
Angela was a beautiful, loving, compassionate mom, daughter, sister and friend.
Angela was born June 27,1974. She grew up in Eden Prairie, went to college at Madison and graduated from St. Kates with both a bachelor's and master's degree in Education. She taught for a year in Orlando, FL, then in Edina at Creek Valley Elementary, The Berry Patch and The Goddard School.
Her proudest achievement was her two sons. She was a thoroughly devoted mother for 18 years. No amount of love, care and attention was spared and her sons knew how much she loved them.
Left to honor her legacy and memory are her sons, Logan and Cameron Fiol, her parents, Darrell and Judie Westby, her brother, Chad Westby, and her sister, Melissa Seeley and family - Tim, Madison and Gracia. She had an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins that will desperately miss her. And there was a circle of friends that showed Angela unconditional love and assistance these past couple years. She was so grateful for everyone and everything done to help her along the way.
Life will forever have a giant hole that cannot be filled. Angela was a consistent bright light in so many lives.
A Celebration of Life open house will take place at Edina Country Club on November 26 from 3:00-6:00 with memorial tributes beginning at 5:00.
So crank up Beyoncé and have yourself a dance party. That is the most fitting way to honor this incredible woman.
