It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Angela ‘Angie’ Dixon on February 14th, 2025. Born on October 18th, 1958, Angie lived a vibrant life filled with joy, love, and an undeniable passion for caring for her loved ones. Those who knew Angie will remember her as a warm, funny, and caring woman who was always there to lend an ear or a helping hand. Her personality radiated love and empathy, touching the lives of all around her. Her legacy of cherishing others will forever live on in the hearts of those she has left behind. Angie's love for cooking country style meals for her loved ones was unmatchable, as was her penchant for Uncrustable PB&Js. Her favorite beverages were Diet Coke and black coffee. She had a fine taste in music and her favorite artist was the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis. In her free time, Angie loved to curl up with a good episode of Game of Thrones or a soap opera. The color purple held a special place in her heart. Predeceased by her son, William ‘Jason’ Franklin; her mother, Helen Porter Shull; her niece, Amber Willis; and her siblings, Tom Dixon, David Dixon, Cheyenne Shull, Gail Haynes, and JoElla Dixon; Angie is now surrounded by those she has missed dearly. She leaves behind an adoring family that includes her granddaughters, McQenzee Franklin, Natalya Franklin, and Cierra Buchanan; her grandsons, Kristopher Franklin, and Avery Jones; her sisters, Virginia Dixon, Jayne Hall and Lisa Brown; her brother, Trinity Shull; her great grandsons , Walker Simmons, Asher Le, River Dixon, and Alex Ingle.
