It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Angela "Shorty" Askin, an esteemed woman well-known among us as Shorty, but who preferred to be called Angela. She was born on the 5th day of January, 1977, and left us too soon on the 22nd day of April, 2025. Her memory will be cherished forever by her beloved husband, Kevin Askin, and her treasured son, Kevin Askin Jr.

Angela was a vibrant, wonderful woman who immersed herself in the joy of life and shared that joy with those around her. Blessed with the energy and spirit of a woman much younger, Angela’s laughter and smile brought warmth and love to any room she entered.

Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Mary DeRousi, whose strength and resilience were mirrored in her own life. Her surviving brother, Robert Andrews, will hold dear the memories of their shared childhood and the unique bond they shared as siblings.

Angela was recognized for her love and passion for the New England Patriots. She would spend Sunday afternoons adorned in her favorite purple outfit cheering for her team, her spirit as lively and vibrant as the colors she wore.

Though she leaves behind an echo of sadness, Angela's legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will live on through her family and those who were fortunate enough to know her. The love she held for her family was immeasurable and her memory will forever be a beacon of kindness, strength, and love.

Angela, "Shorty", your strength was our foundation, your love was our home, and your spirit will forever be inscribed in our hearts. You will be dearly missed.
