Angel Quiñones, 85, of Springfield peacefully passed away on Tuesday March 29 surrounded by loved ones after battling an illness .

Angel was born on January 4, 1937 to Blas and Beatriz in the city of Fajardo, PR.  In 1950, he met Aladina and they went on to have 2 children, Angel and Felix. Angel retired in 2001 after 30 years in the field. While retired, Angel had time to pursue his love of creating a library of bible based literature. He was also an avid jokester who loved making others laugh. He is survived by his wife, Aladina, his sons, Angel and Felix, his grandchildren Amy Rivera, Rebecca Cardenales and Marcus Quiñones and great granddaughter Tamia . Public visitation will be held at Puerta Del Cielo 730 State St Springfield, MA on Thursday April 7 from 6-8pm and funeral services will be held on Friday April 8 from 9-10am at Oak Grove Cemetery 426 Bay Street Springfield, MA.
