Angel's obituary

Angel Lynn Dailey, age 37, of Beverly, MA passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2023.  Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her untimely death.  Angel was born to Kevin and Deborah (Searle) Dailey in Dover, NH in 1985.  She graduated from Beverly High School in 2004.  Angel went on to study at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) in North Adams, MA.  It was there where her love for working with children and helping others blossomed.  After graduating from MCLA, she worked at Community House in Brattleboro, VT working with children needing therapeutic support.  More recently, she was employed as a Para Professional at Salem Public Schools and Boston Center for Independent Living.

Angel lived most of her life in Massachusetts but moved to Florida for several years after the loss of her mother.  Angel loved being outdoors and often found herself at peace while sitting near the ocean.  She loved the warm sun and cool breeze on her face and the kindness of the friends she created there.  When she decided to move back to New England, she moved to Townsend, VT where she lived with her best friend and her family.  Although she did not miss the cold winters of New England, she missed her family and longed to reconnect with them.

Angel's interests were spending time with her friends, coloring, being at the beach, enjoying cups of coffee, helping others, watching inspirational movies and baking with her honorary nephews from Vermont whom she loved dearly.  Angel had an infectious laugh that could lighten up any room and a smile that could warm your heart.  She loved with her whole heart and had a remarkable ability to connect and empathize with others.  Angel frequently put others' needs ahead of her own, while fighting her own battles privately.

Angel is survived by her father, Kevin Dailey of Salisbury, MA; her grandfather, Kenneth Searle of Pepperell, MA; several aunts and uncles and her very dear friend, Chantelle Albin of Vermont.  She was predeceased by her mother, Deborah Dailey, and her sister, Melissa Dailey, whom she loved and missed dearly.

Services are private.  Memorial donations may be made to Boston Center for Independent Living, 60 Temple Place, Boston, MA, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides services to enhance the independence of people with disabilities.
