Andrzej Bolesław Ƶórawski was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1937 in Warsaw, Poland, to Helena and Stanisław Ƶórawski. He was the older of two boys, and is pre-deceased by his brother Michał Ƶórawski. The family lived in the suburbs of Warsaw (Radość) throughout the second world war. He graduated from high school in 1955, and immediately went to work in the automotive industry.
